Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services is seeking a Design Project Engineer I to lead multidisciplinary design efforts at our U.S. locations.

You will guide engineering activities, ensure compliance with standards, and support planning, scheduling, and budgeting across life sciences projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge across disciplines, experience with BIM tools like Navisworks, and the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive engineering experience in technical project roles.
• Experience in AEC, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences industries preferred.
• Expertise with engineering design programs and BIM tools such as Navisworks.
• General knowledge of system design and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and coordination for multidisciplinary design projects.
• Ensure design compliance with safety, quality, client guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate input across disciplines and development of equipment lists.
• Lead regular design coordination and review meetings with stakeholders.
• Support change management, RFIs, and vendor document reviews.
• Assist in proposals, presentations, and sales/marketing documents.
