Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Design Coordinator to support project coordination and ensure timely, budget-conscious deliverables. You will liaise between fieldSales Agents and internal teams, manage scope, cost, and schedule, and handle vendor communications from inception to post-installation.

The role focuses on design-related projects with a strong customer-service emphasis, in-office at a renovated Chicago office, with occasional work-from-home Fridays after settling in.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, project management or engineering.
• 2+ years of project coordination/management in a design or creative environment.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to analyze data or drawings and communicate with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with internal data systems including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, schedule, and coordinate projects.
• Communicate effectively with customers, sales, and cross-functional teams.
• Handle submittals, documentation, and order processing.
• Manage timelines, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
• Track projects through manufacturing, shipping, and closeout.
