icreatives is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support design projects from planning through installation. This on-site role in Portland, OR collaborates with designers, vendors, clients, and installers to keep programs on schedule and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in project coordination or related fields, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Asana, MS Project, and the Microsoft 365/Google toolset.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, events, design, marketing, or related field.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with project management tools like Asana or MS Project and MS Office/Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with scheduling, task tracking, and documenting projects.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare status reports, and track milestones.
• Communicate with clients, internal design teams, vendors, and installers to keep projects on track.
• Support budget tracking by maintaining expense records and vendor quotes.
• Learn fabrication, production, and installation processes by working alongside the team.
• Provide logistical support during installations and events.
• Ensure teams have what they need on site for a smooth rollout.
• Participate in project debriefs and apply feedback to strengthen your project management skills.

Project Coordinator | Contract to Hire | On-Site

TTH $50K - $60K | $25.00 - $30.00/hour

Location: Portland, OR

An independent design studio creating branded environments is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to help bring retail design projects and brand experiences to life — from initial planning through final installation. This is a great role for someone early in their project management career who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. You'll support Project Managers and work directly with designers, vendors, clients, and installers to keep projects running smoothly, on time, and on budget.

What You'll Do

Project Support

• Assist Project Managers with scheduling, task tracking, and maintaining project documentation
• Help organize meetings, prepare status reports, and track milestones
• Communication + Coordination
• Coordinate communication between clients, internal design teams, vendors, and installers
• Ensure everyone has the information and resources needed to move work forward
• Support budget tracking by maintaining expense records and gathering vendor quotes
• Assist with sourcing vendors, providing project briefs, and tracking deliverables
• Partner with the design team to help maintain brand and design consistency during execution
• Learn fabrication, production, and installation processes by working alongside the team

On-Site + Events

• Provide logistical support during installations and events
• Help ensure teams have what they need on site for a smooth rollout

What You Bring

This is an on-site, fast-paced role with shifting priorities. You'll be working closely with both creative and production teams. Occasional support during installations or events outside standard hours may be required.

This is a contract-to-hire, on-site position in Portland, OR. Remote work is not available.
