Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Design Operations Manager, Senior Associate within Digital. You will plan and manage day-to-day workflow across Digital Customer Experience, leading delivery for complex programs and enabling the design organization to operate efficiently and predictably.

You will partner with design leads, product, technology, and finance/business management to align resources with strategic priorities, governance, and transparency, scaling practices and promoting AI adoption.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in project/program management or design operations with digital UX teams.
• Fluent in Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Proficient with delivery tooling (e.g., Jira, Monday.com) to drive transparency.
• Excellent communication; ability to synthesize status into dashboards.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and drive execution across multiple streams.
• Strong problem-solving; translate insights into pragmatic solutions.
• Organized, proactive, and able to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Experience influencing outcomes without direct authority; stakeholder management.
• Comfort with AI-assisted tools and evolving design technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of a digital product portfolio including intake, prioritization, resourcing, and team capacity.
• Drive clarity and execution readiness by defining problem scope, ownership, and ready criteria.
• Lead cross-team dependency management; facilitate sessions and present clear options.
• Maintain portfolio visibility and enable timely tradeoffs with design and cross-functional leaders.
• Translate demand into capacity plans; ensure deliverables and handoffs are defined.
• Guide end-to-end execution with Design Leads, Product Owners, Tech Leads, and Scrum Masters.
• Consult with teams on planning design work and sequencing.
• Track delivery across projects; act as single point of contact for status and risks.
• Leverage AI and traditional tooling to improve rhythms, ceremonies, and predictability.
• Uphold standards and drive continuous process improvements in craft and output.
• Develop reusable SOPs, templates, and playbooks to sustain team health.
