Job summary

Crate & Barrel in Short Hills, NJ, seeks a Design Coordinator to support the design experience by organizing appointments, store events, and sales aids. You will provide exceptional customer service and assist Designers with consultations and projects.

You will drive sales on the floor, manage design tasks and events, and ensure the brand aesthetics and product information are reflected across store, e-commerce, and catalog channels.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and create a differentiated experience by assisting customers and Designers with appointments and Design Desk projects
• Own organization and replenishment of sales aids
• Conduct post-purchase customer outreach
• Support Designers and Leaders by managing pipeline activities and in-store events
• Assist customers on the floor and pass them off to Designers as appropriate
• Possess a clear understanding of brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy by channel: store, e-commerce, and catalog
• Ensure full understanding of product information, care information, and stay informed on trends
• Act as the point person and maintain partnerships with CDST and B2B departments
• Deliver individual sales, KPI, service goals, and productivity standards, and engage customers on the sales floor by demonstrating selling skills
• Actively listen to customers to identify products meeting needs and communicate loyalty services
• Assist Designers with in-home and in-store consultations
• Support and model excellent service with a positive attitude and enthusiasm
• Support store training and education on design services
• Support large-scale projects as assigned
