Qualifications

• 8+ years in design and development of ground mount solar and battery storage projects.
• 3+ years managing a team of Design Engineers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, PVcase and PVsyst.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and document control practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of design engineers, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
• Direct the creation of 30% to 100% solar and storage drawings and design packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct energy production modeling and system performance simulations using PVsyst to optimize designs.
• Develop and maintain standardized design templates, CAD standards, workflows, and QA/QC processes.
• Manage multiple projects from design through final engineering deliverables, coordinating milestones and resources.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on design status, risks, changes, and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
