Job summary

Renewyx LLC in Chicago is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the design of C&I solar and battery storage projects. You will own the electrical design, model systems in PVsyst/Helioscope, and develop single-line diagrams and calculations for permits and interconnection packages.

The role partners with project managers, engineers and installation crews to ensure designs translate cleanly to on-site construction, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering and hands-on C&I solar and storage design experience.
• Code-compliant designs through to construction and permit packages.
• Experience generating single-line diagrams and calculations.
• Comfort collaborating with project managers, engineers and installation crews.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical design for C&I solar and battery storage projects.
• Model systems in PVsyst or Helioscope and create single-line diagrams.
• Prepare permit and interconnection packages.
• Carry projects from site surveys to as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers and field crews.
