Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota Company, invites applications for its 2027 Summer Internship in Salina, KS. Interns work on-site, full-time, May through August, earning $20/hour with a 4-day week (Mon-Thu 6:00 a.m.

– 4:30 p.m.) and housing provided for those outside the area. Design Engineer Interns will join an R&D facility in Salina and tackle a project in Design Engineering related to agricultural or construction equipment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Ag Systems or other relevant Engineering major.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours by the beginning of the internship.
• Ability to work on-site full-time during the summer and live within commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Complete a project with a mentor and peers, applying college knowledge to practice.
• Collaborate with R&D engineers on design engineering tasks related to agricultural/construction equipment.
• Participate in summer activities and engage with Great Plains employees.
