Job summary

Joybird, a La-Z-Boy brand, seeks a Lead Sales Associate in Dallas to drive showroom sales and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will open/close the store, report sales, and support the team while building your client base.

Base pay is $18/hour with uncapped commission (2% on sales) and a monthly $500 bonus based on meeting sales goals. Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail sales experience with shift supervision preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• No travel required.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and perform duties in the absence of management.
• Open and close with store keys and alarm code.
• Daily sales reporting to the retail leadership.
• Oversee the sales floor during high volume; support sales team and supervise to meet financial goals.
• Lead Sales Associate role; model sales generation and customer service excellence.
• Maintain showroom design and visual standards using merchandising guidelines.
• Grow and maintain a personal client base and drive store sales through follow-up and outreach.
• Assist leadership to create programs and initiatives to improve customer experiences.
• Share insights with product, marketing and technology teams about customer needs and feedback.
• Listen to customer feedback and complaints, empathize, and present solutions.
