Job summary

Joybird showroom sales role at La-Z-Boy Incorporated focuses on delivering the best possible customer experience while driving store sales and building a personal client base.

You’ll open/close the store, supervise during shifts, and participate in merchandising, reporting, and initiatives to improve guest satisfaction. Base pay is $18/hour with 2% uncapped commission on written sales and a $500 monthly bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of retail sales experience with shift supervision preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• No travel required.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and perform duties in the absence of management.
• Open/close with store keys and alarm code.
• Prepare daily sales reports to retail leadership.
• Oversee the sales floor during high volume; support sales team and meet financial goals.
• Lead by example in sales generation and customer service to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Maintain showroom visual standards using merchandising guidelines.
• Grow and maintain a client base; drive store sales through client follow-up and outreach.
• Assist leadership in creating programs to improve customer experiences.
• Share insights with product/marketing/technology teams based on customer feedback.
• Listen to feedback and present the best solutions to customers.
