Job summary

Floor & Decor in Nashua, NH is seeking a Design Consultant to engage customers on the sales floor and conduct design appointments for selecting tile, wood, stone, and accessories. You will partner with store leaders to maximize sales goals and expand the design services brand.

Prerequisites include 1+ years of retail or customer service experience, a high school diploma or GED, and basic computer skills. Training on Salesforce and the Online Design Scheduler is provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail/customer service experience
• High school diploma and/or GED
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
• Internal candidates a minimum of 6 months with Floor & Decor

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers in a helpful manner and support design walk-in needs
• Schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers, and develop clientele
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for projects
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions
• Manage multiple customer projects with accuracy, timeliness and follow-up; use company tools and emails
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation and achieve goals
• Support company initiatives and coach best practices with staff
• Understand and utilize design applications such as Salesforce, Online Design Scheduler, and MyProject
