Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail/customer service experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
• Internal candidates a minimum of 6 months with Floor & Decor

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers, while developing clientele through networking and referrals, as well as leads generated within the store.
• Advise homeowners, interior designers, and builders on tile, wood, stone and accessories for projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with high accuracy, timeliness and follow-up, including clear communication.
• Use company tools (Salesforce, Online Design Appointment Scheduler, MyProject) consistently.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation and achieve sales goals.
