ARCO Design/Build, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Construction Design/Build Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of design/build projects, collaborating with clients and design teams to shape preliminary concepts into buildable solutions.

You will lead bid/proposal efforts, manage subcontractor relationships, and drive on-site communication and quality, with a focus on integrity, safety, and delivering value-driven results for complex industrial builds.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or related engineering majors.
• Strong interest in design/build, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds, etc.
• Previous experience in construction preferred, but not required.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Every Facet of the Project – ownership of project success from start to finish including estimating, scheduling, quality control, billing, design coordination, cost tracking, safety and proposal development.
• Deliver Accurate, Impactful Estimates – prepare detailed, reliable project estimates for successful execution.
• Collaborate on Vision and Innovation – work with clients and design teams to shape preliminary concepts into buildable solutions.
• Influence the Big Picture – participate in proposal meetings, refine scope, reduce costs, and provide value-driven engineering insights.
• Select the Best to Build the Best – lead subcontractor selection and buyout for top-tier talent and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive Communication On-Site – facilitate bi-weekly site meetings to align teams and track progress.
• Make Confident Decisions Under Pressure – provide calm, focused leadership when quick decisions are needed.
• Juggle with Precision – coordinate multiple moving parts to keep scope, schedule, and budget aligned.
• Champion Quality and Continuous Improvement – monitor processes and seek ways to do it better.
• Turn Feedback into Results – listen to client input and turn it into outcomes that exceed expectations.
