ARCO a Family of Construction Companies in Memphis, TN seeks a Design/Build Manager to lead projects from concept through completion, ensuring performance and profitability from day one. The role emphasizes coordination with owners and design teams, value engineering, and strong vendor management.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree, 2–5 years of design/build experience, and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project. Growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field; with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
• 2-5 years' design/build construction experience with a general contractor preferred
• Vertical commercial construction experience
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project

Responsibilities

• Manage managerial and administrative aspects of a project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports and billing
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
• Collaborate with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, reduce costs, and propose value engineering
• Oversee buyout process and subcontractor selection
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings on site
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to achieve results
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes
• Incorporate customer input to meet/exceed requirements and maintain integrity

Education

BS in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field; minimum 3.0 GPA
