ARCO Design/Build is seeking a highly motivated Design/Build Manager for our Memphis, TN team. You will oversee project performance and profit from day one, coordinating with owners and the design team while managing estimating, scheduling, quality control and cost reporting.

You will lead buyout efforts, supervise subcontractor selection, and run bi-weekly site meetings, ensuring timely decisions and adherence to scope and budget. ARCO emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and delivering client value.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field with GPA >= 3.0.
• 2–5 years design/build construction experience with GC.
• Vertical commercial construction experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety and proposal preparation.
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
• Work with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in proposal meetings to review scope and provide value engineering ideas.
• Oversee buyout process and selection of subcontractors.
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings on site.
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to achieve results.
