Job summary

ARCO Design/Build, Inc. is hiring a Construction Project Manager Intern/Co-Op for Summer 2027 in Columbus, OH. You will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project, from concept through final delivery, while learning from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities include assisting with estimating, scheduling, design meetings, reporting, and site visits. Housing stipend and professional development are provided as part of our intern/coop program.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle of a construction project from concept to delivery.
• Assist in estimating and takeoffs with guidance from DBMs.
• Help create and maintain project schedules with subcontractors and trades.
• Attend design meetings with owner, design team, and engineers.
• Prepare weekly reports and track action items from meetings.
• Shadow project calls and site meetings to observe leadership.
• Assist with bid instructions, schedules, and subcontractor communications.
• Assist with permitting and submittal review processes.
• Learn about subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and pay applications.
• Participate in site visits to monitor progress and learn field operations.
