Job summary

McFarland Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple commercial construction projects in the Tulsa market. This role oversees the full lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.

It is a leadership position ideal for a design/build PM who thrives in a fast-paced environment and owns both field and office execution. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in PM, design/build experience, and proficiency with Procore and Microsoft

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred.
5+ years of project management experience.
Design/Build experience preferred.
Procore and Microsoft Project experience preferred.
Open to travel.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with Preconstruction to prepare and monitor project budgets and costs.
Finalizes and manages project budgets.
Understands owner’s contract requirements including bonds, fees, notifications, schedules, reporting, and costs.
Participates in owner meetings to review scope, reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas.
Manages subcontracting process from scope review to price finalization and execution.
Oversees onsite construction activity and schedules intermediate phases to meet deadlines.
Reviews contract documents with clients, employees, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
Coordinates and delivers requirements for subcontractors and suppliers to meet project schedules.
Maintains a safe, respectful working environment with safety and loss prevention programs.
