Job summary

McFarland Construction is seeking a Project Manager for commercial construction projects in the Indianapolis market. You will lead multiple projects through preconstruction, execution, and closeout, owning schedules, budgets, and coordination with owners, subs, and design teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years PM experience, design/build exposure, and strong proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project, alongside broad software skills and a readiness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Construction management preferred).
• 5+ years project management experience.
• Design/build experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with Procore and Microsoft Project tools is preferred.
• Open to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and monitor project budgets and cost reports.
• Coordinate with owner, design teams, subs, and suppliers to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Review contract documents and ensure adherence to terms and reporting requirements.
• Maintain safe, respectful site environment and enforce quality control.
