Job summary

HNTB is seeking a DB Design Manager (Highway/ Managed Lanes) to lead teams on mega infrastructure programs across the U.S. This senior role requires extensive collaboration with contractors and a track record of delivering large highway design-build projects.

The position can be based from any HNTB office and travels to project locations. You will be accountable for on-time, on-budget delivery and client satisfaction, guiding staffing and strategic pursuits for future mega opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with extensive experience on mega projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and client expectations.
• Strong leadership and mentoring of project staff across multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Develops and nurtures client relationships and serves as primary company contact on projects.
• Manages project cash flow, budget, schedule and scope to meet goals.
• Staffs projects through collaboration with leadership and resources.
• Leads pursuits for mega and super mega projects and contributes to sales strategies.
• Oversees staffing, recruitment, development and performance reviews.
• Participates in proposal presentations and client meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
