Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Design Manager (Highway/Managed Lanes) to lead teams on large-scale infrastructure projects nationwide. The role requires extensive experience directing mega and super mega projects, collaborating with contractors, and achieving top performance on schedule and budget.

The position supports a national footprint with travel to project offices and leadership across groups to staff projects, mentor teams, and win major pursuits. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience including 6+ years delivering mega/super mega projects.

Responsibilities

• Owns financial performance of projects, manages cash, budget, schedule and scope to meet goals.
• Develops client relationships and serves as primary contact for assigned projects.
• Staffing, recruitment, development and performance reviews for project team members.
• Leads pursuits for mega projects and coordinates with pursuit teams and marketing resources.
