Job summary

HNTB is seeking a DB Design Manager to lead teams on major highway and managed lanes projects. This officer-level role requires extensive experience coordinating with contractors, pursuing mega projects, and delivering on time and on budget while ensuring client satisfaction.

You will travel to project offices nationwide and mentor staff, overseeing staffing, development, and performance reviews as needed. This role fits an experienced leader in a dynamic, national design-build environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 12 years of relevant experience including 6 years of experience managing mega/super mega projects.
• Experience as Design Manager on multiple Design Build highway/ managed lanes projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and nurtures key client relationships and is the primary company contact on assigned projects.
• Responsible for financial performance on projects, including budget, schedule, and scope.
• Staff projects by engaging resources and coordinating with leadership to meet objectives.
• Leads pursuits of super mega projects and develops long term strategies with key clients.
