ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in the Central US is seeking a Manager, Design Build Construction Services to lead consultative engagements with contractors and owner representatives on DB/CMAR projects, driving awareness and sales of ASSA ABLOY brands.

You will identify regional and national DB/CMAR firms, coordinate with distribution partners, support budgeting and procurement, review specs, and coordinate BIM platforms while aligning with DSS teams to ensure bid coverage and design guidance.

Qualifications

• Professional selling and demand generation skills; including proven presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Self-starter with strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to read CSI MasterFormat Division 08 architectural specifications and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Establish consultative relationships with contractors and owner/developer reps for DB/CMAR project delivery to grow market awareness and sales of ASSA ABLOY brand products and services.
• Identify and qualify regional and national DB/CMAR firms to target for consulting relationships.
• Coordinate with Contract Hardware Distribution partners to support project budgeting, bidding, procurement, and project management activities.
• Promote and secure utilization of software solutions and professional services for construction management; coordinate on-site execution of contracts.
• Provide pre-construction budgetary guidance and project specifications for product applications.
• Provide bidding and product sourcing assistance.
• Identify project Architects and Security Contractors and coordinate Division 08/28 door/hardware specifications and drawings.
• Assist with review on Division 08/28 submittal packages for contractors.
• Identify opportunities for pre-installed and off-site door/hardware services.
• Attend project coordination and pre-installation meetings to review scope of services.
• Coordinate training for subcontractors on product installation.
• Review RFIs/RFQs, ASIs, Change Orders and related post-bid directives for door openings.
• Assist with trade coordination between door opening subcontractors and access control/security contractors.
• Coordinate BIM platform interfacing throughout design, distribution, and construction phases.
• Interact with DSS sales, professional services, and demand-gen teams on bid coverage and design guides.
