Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Derrick Hand to join a 4-5 person workover rig crew at our Axis Meshoppen, PA facility. Responsibilities include elevated derrick work, tubing and rod handling, and routine rig maintenance in a fast-paced oilfield environment.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 1 year of derrick hand experience (2+ years on workover rigs preferred), and ability to communicate in English. A rotating 14/7 schedule with travel and safety compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable MVR; CDL Class A or B preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Derrick hand experience required; at least 2 years of workover rig floor experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rigging up and down, lining up the well service rig with the well and performing servicing.
• Perform all elevated work on the derrick and related components; transfer rods and tubing on racks and elevators.
• Support tubing board and rod basket operations; handle lifting of tubing from racks to floor.
• Assist in moving and handling rig tools, hydraulic jacks, and securing anchors; comply with safety programs.
