Platinum Dermatology Partners is a network of dermatology clinics seeking a Medical Scheduler to manage patient scheduling, physician calendars, and high call volumes in a fast-paced medical office. The role supports clinic operations through accurate scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year in a medical office, with dermatology scheduling preferred, excellent communication, and the ability to multi-task and stay

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office.
• Prior medical scheduling experience is required.
• Dermatology experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Excellent phone skills are required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented.
• Basic understanding of healthcare plans.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with high call volume.
• Maintain physicians schedules scheduling office visits and procedures.
• View patient visit notes, identifying problems & diagnosis listed and physician orders.
• Assist in patient registration and financial transactions.
• May schedule radiology/lab.
• May include recall scheduling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
