Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Medical Scheduler to manage patient scheduling, coordinate physician calendars, and provide exceptional customer service in a busy dermatology office.

Responsibilities include high-volume calls, patient registration, and insurance verification, with dermatology experience preferred and Mohs exposure strongly preferred. High school diploma or GED required, bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Min two-three years of experience in a medical office.
• Prior medical scheduling experience is required.
• Dermatology experience is preferred; Mohs is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Excellent phone skills are required.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of healthcare plans.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with high call volumes.
• Maintain physicians' schedules and schedule office visits and procedures (phone or in person).
• View patient visit notes, identify problems and diagnoses, and review physician orders.
• Assist in patient registration and financial transactions.
• May schedule radiology and laboratory appointments.
• May include recall scheduling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
