Job summary

Peraza Dermatology Group in Lebanon, NH seeks a Pathology Coordinator to organize and move the pathology workflow from collection to final results. You will collaborate with Medical Assistants, Providers, Histology, outside labs, and leadership to maintain clear communication and accountability.

Primary location is the Lebanon, NH office with flexibility to other clinics. The role requires strong ownership, organizational skills, and experience with EMR systems and laboratory processes.

Qualifications

• Must have dermatology experience or strong dermatology exposure.
• Minimum 3 years in a medical office/healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems and electronic charting required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day pathology workflow for dermatology biopsies, surgical specimens, and Mohs cases.
• Ensure specimens are properly identified, labeled, documented, stored, submitted, and tracked.
• Courier specimens from Claremont and New London to Lebanon; coordinate in-house courier from Windsor and Derry.
• Review pathology requisitions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies before submission.
• Serve as main contact for pathology-related questions and workflow with staff and leadership.
• Track specimens and pathology reports from submission through final results and follow up on missing items.
• Coordinate pathology workflow for Mohs cases, including staging and communication with surgical team.
• Maintain accurate pathology records, requisitions, tracking, and EMR documentation.
