QualDerm Partners is a fast-growing dermatology lab and medical provider seeking a Lab Assistant to deliver administrative support for the pathology lab. The role involves intake, QA, charge entry, data input into Nextech EMR, and handling slides and reports.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years in a lab or medical office setting, and an Associate's degree is required. We offer competitive pay and extensive benefits in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years experience in lab or medical office setting.
• Understanding of medical terminology preferred.
• Associates Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Intake and processing of specimens.
• Input data into Electronic Medical Records Nextech.
• Log incoming slides and prepares slides for physician.
• Log Pathology Reports, accession and pull charts for physician review.
• File slides and blocks.
• Compliance to safety regulations.
• Review all slides and documentation to ensure information is accurate
• May assist with maintenance of Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes
• May assist with ordering laboratory supplies and appropriately store supplies.
• May assist with maintenance of current policies and procedures for all lab functions.
• May assist with the overall responsibility for maintenance and storage of all lab records and patient slides, according to law.
• Input of diagnosis codes to prepare for finalizing reports for pathologists.
• Any other duties as required to ensure QualDerm Partners' operations are successful.
