OLIVER STREET DERMATOLOGY MANAGEMENT LLC in Leawood, KS is seeking a Mohs Medical/Surgical Assistant to support physicians in both clinic and outpatient surgical settings. You will provide safe, compassionate care, obtain medical information, and prepare patients for procedures.

You will record histories in the EMR, assist during surgeries, manage sterile supplies, and educate patients on wound care and recovery timelines. Prior dermatology exposure is preferred.

Competenze

• One or more years in a medical setting.
• Dermatology surgery exposure preferred (Mohs/surgical assisting).
• Knowledge of sterile technique and patient safety.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and basic office software.

Mansioni

• Assist licensed physician in clinic and outpatient surgery settings.
• Record medical history, meds, allergies, vital signs in EMR.
• Prepare exam and procedure rooms; maintain sterile field.
• Assist during Mohs surgery and excisions with instruments.
• Explain procedures and wound care to patients; provide comfort.
• Schedule appointments and triage calls; contact facilities as needed.
• Inventory and maintain instruments and supplies; proper disposal.
• Administer local anesthetics and assist with medications per protocol.
