Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical assistant or surgical technician; dermatology experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Expertise in use of surgical instruments and maintaining sterile environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and review health survey data to develop care plans.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative education to patients and families.
• Prepare the surgical area with instruments, equipment, and anesthesia.
• Assist surgeon during procedures, scrubbing in and handing instruments.
• Maintain sterile environment and compliance with protocols.
• Document all patient care in the EMR and paper records.
