Job summary

U.S. Dermatology Partners is seeking a Mohs Medical/Surgical Assistant to support licensed physicians in dermatology clinics and outpatient surgical settings.

You will provide safe, compassionate care, prepare patients, and assist during Mohs procedures while maintaining sterile technique and accurate documentation in the EMA system. The role requires 1+ year in a medical setting and at least 6+ months in a dermatologic surgery setting, with strong knowledge of medical terminology and excellent

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology.
• Interpersonal skills to support patient experience.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with proper grammar and spelling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during surgery while maintaining sterile field.
• Explain surgical/treatment procedures and post-care instructions to patients.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
• Set up sterile trays and ensure proper sterilization of instruments.
• Input patient data into the EHR (EMA) and document procedures.
• Schedule and coordinate Mohs surgery and clinic appointments.
