Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Lombard, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to greet patients, assist with registration, and support physicians during exams and minor procedures. You will perform vital signs, collect health histories, and help with immunizations where needed.

Responsibilities include handling prescriptions, lab tests, and chart updates while maintaining clean exam rooms and delivering exceptional patient service as part of a physician-led team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or higher education in health sciences.
• Active MA certification (AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA) preferred.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain on hire.
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience as MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or 2+ years in a medical office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, assist with registration, scheduling, and collect health history.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor surgeries, and procedures.
• Assist with immunizations or injections where applicable.
• Handle prescription requests and pharmacy callbacks; update charting.
• Conduct onsite lab testing such as EKG, pulmonary tests, glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming exam rooms and uphold patient service standards.
• Provide care aligned with Duly Health and Care CARE values; some travel to clinics.
