Job summary

Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery seeks a Mohs Medical Assistant to support Mohs surgeries and patient care in a fast-paced dermatology environment. You will assist surgeons, manage patient records, obtain consents, call in prescriptions, and help schedule procedures.

The role requires Certified Medical Assistant credentials (preferred), Mohs/surgical experience (preferred), CPR, and strong knowledge of vital signs and sterile technique to ensure top-quality care for our patients.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Surgical or Mohs experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of vital signs and sterile technique.
• Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Mohs surgery and surgical excisions.
• Assist physician in providing quality care to surgery patients.
• Maintain patient medical records and review medical history.
• Obtain appropriate consents and call in prescriptions.
• Perform patient callbacks and assist with scheduling surgeries.
