Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and patient care in a fast-paced dermatology setting. You will verify patient information, document medical histories in the EHR, and assist physicians during examinations.

Responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, escorting them to rooms, and performing routine procedures under supervision. A high school diploma and HIPAA familiarity are required, with prior medical office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy and security.
• Ability to learn center tasks and assist physicians.
• Strong patient service orientation.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and medical history.
• Enter data into EHR and prepare patients for exams.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist during visits.
• Administer medications as ordered and perform basic procedures.
• Schedule procedures and manage patient communications.
• Maintain clean and organized clinical areas and stock supplies.
