Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and patient care across our dermatology centers. You will assist with patient intake, data entry in EHR, exam room preparation, and basic clinical procedures under supervision.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork to support physicians and improve patient outcomes. Experience in a medical office and familiarity with HIPAA guidelines are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in medical office preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and CPT/ICD-10 coding is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and medical history.
• Enter data into EHR and prepare patient for exam.
• Assist physician during examinations and procedures.
• Manage specimen collection and lab orders.
• Provide patient instructions and medication administration as ordered.
• Maintain sterile environments and inventory.
