DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a flexible Medical Assistant to support clinical operations across our dermatology centers. The role involves patient intake, data entry into the EMR, assisting physicians during exams, and coordinating procedures. You will help ensure efficient visits and accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior medical office experience, and knowledge of HIPAA. Travel within Docs Dermatology Group offices may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a medical office setting and understanding of patient privacy.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.
• Proactive team player with strong customer service skills.

Aufgaben

• Verify patient information and medical history prior to visits.
• Enter data into EHR and assist with documentation.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for evaluations.
• Assist physician during examinations and procedures as needed.
• Schedule procedures and coordinate with laboratories.
• Administer medications per physician orders and provide patient education.
• Change dressings and assist with wound care when required.
