Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations across multiple locations. The role involves patient intake, documenting medical histories in the EHR, assisting physicians during exams, and ensuring a clean and organized clinical environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, experience in a medical office, and working knowledge of HIPAA standards. Travel to different offices may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in medical office preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA rules expected.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information by interviewing patients and recording medical history.
• Enter medical history and visit information into EHR.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for the physician.
• Assist physician during examinations and procedures.
• Take and document nurse visits, injections, and wound care.
• Provide patient instructions for medications and care at home.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical supplies.
