DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations across dermatology centers. You will verify patient information, enter data into the EHR, escort patients, assist physicians, and manage specimens and meds. A team-oriented environment emphasizes high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include wound care, phlebotomy, scheduling procedures, and coordinating care while ensuring HIPAA compliance and smooth workflow across locations.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a medical office preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.
• Experience with ModMed EMA EMR is a plus.

Mansioni

• Verify patient information by interviewing the patient and recording medical history.
• Enter medical history and visit data into the EHR system.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for examinations.
• Assist physician during examinations and procedures.
• Phone prescriptions to pharmacies and schedule procedures.
• Manage wound care, phlebotomy, and specimen handling as needed.
• Document nurse visits and administer medications as ordered.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of clinical areas.
