Job summary

The Dermatology Center, LLC is seeking a dependable Medical Assistant or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in a patient-centered dermatology practice. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current MA or CCMA certification preferred or required, depending on experience.
• Prior experience in a medical office, dermatology setting is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Comfort using electronic health record systems and basic office technology.
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
• Assist the provider during dermatology procedures and in-office treatments
• Collect and prepare specimens as directed and maintain proper workflow
• Review patient histories, medications, allergies, and visit information
• Provide clear, courteous communication to patients regarding care instructions
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment in a clean, organized condition
• Support front-to-back office coordination to help the day run smoothly
• Follow clinic policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards
• Perform other related clinical and administrative duties as assigned
