Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology clinicians in a fast-paced practice. Responsibilities include patient preparation, taking histories, and assisting with biopsies and cosmetic procedures. The role emphasizes compassion, accuracy in charting, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience working in a medical office as a medical assistant.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred but not required.
• Dermatology and cosmetic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from the exam room and prepare them for the examination.
• Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist the physician in-room by scribing notes in the medical record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect path/lab specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning and organizing exam rooms and stocking supplies.
