Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced dermatology clinics. You will escort patients, collect histories, and assist physicians in exam rooms and procedures, including biopsies and cosmetic treatments. Daily room sanitation and specimen handling are required.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in a medical office, experience in dermatology or cosmetics preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills to support excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a medical office as a medical assistant.
• Prior Dermatology and cosmetic experience preferred.
• Quality written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from the exam room and prepare them for examination.
• Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist Physician/Provider by scribing notes in the medical record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect path/lab specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning and organization of exam rooms and stocking supplies.
• Other duties as assigned to the back office.
