DOCS Dermatology Group, a leading dermatology practice, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and patient care activities under supervision. You will be integral to the healthcare team, assisting with exams, procedures, and medication administration.

The position requires a High School diploma with prior medical office experience and a focus on patient care, privacy, and efficient EHR documentation. Travel to various Docs offices may be needed.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality and patient privacy practices.
• Ability to learn center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Strong patient care and customer service standards.

Aufgaben

• Verify patient information and medical history.
• Enter medical history and visit data into EHR.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for visits.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Schedule procedures and manage prescription communications.
• Take patient photographs and perform in-office phlebotomy as needed.
• Maintain sterile instruments and inventory supplies.
• Complete phone triage and communicate lab results to patients.
• Administer medications as ordered and document nurse visits.
