Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Dermatology Health & Science Specialist in the Los Angeles area to drive adoption of dermatology therapies through compliant engagement with healthcare providers. You will partner with dermatologists, APPs, and office staff to launch products, ensure access, and deliver differentiated clinical value across assigned accounts.

The role requires strong specialty selling skills, disease-state knowledge, and the ability to navigate reimbursement and payer processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; or associate’s with 8+ years of work experience; or high school diploma with 10+ years.
• Minimum 3 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales or marketing (alignment with healthcare provider experience).
• Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards; no DUI/DWI within past 7 years.
• Willingness to travel within territory; able to travel to all accounts/offices and overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory and account strategies to drive demand and achieve sales objectives in dermatology.
• Build trusted relationships with dermatologists, APPs, and office staff through in-person and virtual engagements.
• Deliver clear, compelling clinical and product messaging using approved materials to influence prescribing behavior.
• Navigate formulary access, reimbursement pathways, and patient support resources to improve access.
• Leverage data and analytics to prioritize accounts, plan calls, and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and support launches.
