Golden State Dermatology is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team in Torrance, CA. You will warmly greet patients, assist with check-in and check-out, verify insurance and eligibility, and manage the appointment schedule with attention to detail.

You will answer phone inquiries, maintain accurate patient records, and provide product education while promoting skincare products. Prior dermatology or healthcare experience is a plus.

Competenze

• Customer service or patient-centered mindset
• Dermatology/healthcare/aesthetics experience
• Knowledge of insurance carriers (Medicare, commercial, HMO)
• Familiarity with EMR software such as EClinicalWorks or EMA

Mansioni

• Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility
• Handle phone inquiries
• Maintain patient records
• Manage appointment schedules and fill open slots when available
