Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is hiring a Medical Receptionist to support front-desk operations and patient care. You will greet patients, collect information, and coordinate scheduling in a busy dermatology setting.

As a member of the front desk team, you will enter data into the EHR, assist management and physicians, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient lobby for patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve high patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones.
• Greeting patients and vendors.
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data.
• Data entry into EHR systems.
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks.
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays.
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
