Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients, handling multi-line phone systems, greeting patients, collecting insurance information, and scheduling appointments. You will work closely with staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities include checking in/out patients, collecting balances and copays, and providing support to management and physicians.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones
• Greeting patients and vendors
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed
• Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
