Job summary

Integrated Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our dermatology practice. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, and maintain patient records and accounts while ensuring confidentiality and a positive patient experience.

The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to busy schedules and changes in daily workflows. Dermatology experience and EMR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations (preferred).
• EMR experience (preferred).
• Dermatology experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients by name and help them with check-in, scheduling, and accounts maintenance.
• Welcomes patients and visitors in person or by phone and answers or refers inquiries.
• Optimizes patient satisfaction and clinic efficiency by scheduling and coordinating appointments.
• Keeps appointments on schedule by notifying staff of arrivals and delays.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and protects sensitive information.
