Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to greet patients, answer calls, verify insurance, and manage check-in/check-out. You will support front desk operations and collaborate with care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, basic medical terminology knowledge, and a commitment to excellent patient service in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones.
• Greeting patients and vendors.
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and other data.
• Data entry into EHR systems.
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks.
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays.
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
