Job summary

Goodman Dermatology, part of the AQUA Dermatology portfolio, is the Southeast's leading skin care provider, offering medical, surgical, cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, vein care, and radiation oncology. We seek Medical Receptionists to greet patients, register new patients, schedule appointments, verify benefits, and manage front-desk operations at our Roswell location.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and 1–2 years of medical office experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral communication skills; effective communication.
• Ability to work independently and seek help when needed.
• Analytical and interpretive skills for telephonic/electronic interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients on arrival.
• Register new patients and update demographics; collect payments.
• Answer phones with proper etiquette and direct calls.
• Facilitate patient flow and check-in/out.
• Maintain inventory and stock office supplies.
• Learn new products and maintain inventory of items.
• Verify patient health benefits with providers.
• Schedule appointments.
• Send/receive medical records and referrals.
• Keep the reception area clean and organized.
• Travel to other locations; work in a team; perform other duties.
