Job summary

Schweiger is seeking a Full-Time Patient Coordinator for our Mt. Vernon Office. The role supports patients, providers and staff, handling front office duties and scheduling with a patient-focused approach.

Experience in healthcare and EMR systems is preferred, along with strong communication and organizational skills. Open weekday hours with rotating Saturdays within 7:00am-7:30pm, offering $15–$18.50 per hour and benefits including healthcare, 401K, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Medical receptionist experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Handle all front office duties, patient scheduling, and phone calls.
• Create a positive phone call experience for every caller.
• Promote a professional, welcoming atmosphere and excellent patient service.
• Understand provider to patient flow and assist as needed.
• Attend in-house training and continued education opportunities.
