AbbVie seeks a field-based sales professional to live within a reasonable distance of the primary city in New Jersey. The role focuses on executing brand strategies, managing territory performance, and building strong relationships with targeted accounts to maximize patient access and sales.

Responsibilities include delivering KPIs, planning pre-call objectives, and continuously improving call effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field required or equivalent industry experience.
• Five years of experience with three or more years in pharma/health/science preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
• Proven track record in selling, strong presentation skills, and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to build credible partnerships across district, region and matrix teams.
• Knowledge of disease states, products and competitive landscape and proficiency with business tools.
• HCIR credentialing requirements may apply to entry into facilities in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets and marketing objectives to meet or exceed goals.
• Create pre-call plans with SMART objectives and evaluate outcomes to improve performance.
• Develop trusted customer relationships and create win-win agreements with customers.
• Execute call plans to optimize coverage and frequency for key customers and opportunities.
• Share market intelligence on customer needs, territory landscape, competitors and product knowledge with in-field and brand teams.
